It is Monday August 8th. The start of my first day of school at Chulalongkorn University.
I walk out of my room only to see the aftermath of our night.
As I walk amongst the carcasses of Chang, my memory of the night slowly emerges.
The night started differently. A set of unfamiliar faces greeted me, as I woke up from my afternoon nap.
The girls from two stories below us, grabbed us to join them for dinner. As we walked outside, we were welcomed by the Thai weather of monsoon season. We ran in the warm rain of night, to the corner street restaurant.
As the dinner came to a close, we found ourselves at the 7-11 buying food and drinks for the night ahead of us.
We headed up to our room to enjoy cold Chang, and get to know each other.
The night ended earlier for I then it did for others, as I found myself being awoken on the balcony mid-conversation.
Unfortunately my night had to come to a close, but this is simply the beginning.
